For all the saints
We celebrate All Saints day today. All Saints Day is a day celebrated on November 1 each year. A saint is someone who has faith in Jesus Christ. One does not become a saint by the works that they do, but it is a gift from God.
We are born sinners and when we come to faith in Jesus, God makes us saints. While we live on this earth we are both saint and sinner at the same time. Our natural condition is to be a sinner and when we come to faith in Jesus the saint part moves in right along the sinner part.
It is a tradition to remember those who have been born to eternal life on this day. But there is more to it than just that. Join us today as we look at God’s promise of eternal life and discover what that means to us in the present and in the future.
