Quilters Outreach to Brighton Place

Our quilting group has provided over 100 quilts to the Activity Director at Brighton Place Skilled Nursing Center, our next-door neighbor. We deliver five lap-sized quilts each month to the director to be given to residents who need special comfort and attention. A label is attached that states GOD LOVES YOU. It includes space for the resident name plus our church name and
address. It becomes part of the personal property of the recipient.
Feedback from the director tells us the quilts become cherished possessions. Our Prayers and Squares group meets every first and third Thursday morning at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. New quilters are always welcome.
