"God is my savior; I will trust him and not be afraid. The LORD gives me power and strength; he is my savior." Isaiah 12:2
With these words I am given a new breath of fresh air and gratefulness. He who has all power guides us to become who we are meant to be. It is in His time He makes things flourish and flow. We are but instruments of His love and mercy and when we do His work He truly makes His presence known.
It was so nice to see all of our congregation celebrating His resurrection while enjoying each other's company on Easter. We are truly blessed and highly favored. Thank you to all of our hardworking youth and so many others that made that day possible. I was in awe hearing the laughter and love that echoed in the Fellowship Hall.
With that being said I would like to lay on your hearts an opportunity that has presented itself. We are looking for 2 more Elders to join us in June and serve on the Board of Elders this upcoming year. Please keep it in prayer and if you are guided to serve then let your voice be heard. It has become a bright spot in my life in serving as an Elder and together we can accomplish what God has in store for all of us. More discussion of this will be happening during our Congregational Meeting on May 22nd after 2nd service.
Speaking about the future, the youth have a few more fundraisers before they launch out to the convention in July. A good, old fashioned "Kiss the Bunny" will take place after the congregational meeting where you can nominate Pastor, anyone on Council or on the Board of Elders to pucker up. Jars with names will be on display in the Fellowship Hall so please keep an eye out. There will also be one final yard sale on June 12 from 8-12pm located in the upper parking lot. Please come out and support. We are trying to clean up and get the "Youth House" into order and need your help. Thank you to everyone who continually prays and supports them. Prayer is powerful and I believe in my heart it makes a difference. Please lift up all those on our prayer list, our Pastor and all of our Leaders. May God bless all of you and keep you safe and healthy.
God's Richest Blessings,
