3 cups croutons                                          3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese    3/4 tsp. pepper
6 eggs, beaten                                            3/4 tsp. onion powder           
3 cups milk                                                   3/4 tsp dry mustard 

Spread croutons and cheese in a greased 9X13 pan. Combine eggs, milk and seasonings. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325* for 55 minutes. Add bacon bits, veggies or cooked and crumbled sausage, if desired. Some might remember an Easter breakfast when Nancy made this dish and it was the main dish that some went back for thirds!
