Children & Youth Elder Report

Hi, I just wanted to say how fun the Chili Cook-Off and Talent Show was. Oh my goodness we have such talented people inour church. The very talented Providence started out our show with differentshowcases of talent. Ivy sang like an Angel, Mark with a bluesy gospel and sisters Pam and Bev singing so beautifully followed by funny jokes by Pastor Dave and Mark. Golf lessons by Scott, a duet by myself and Brooklyn & finally Maranatha ended our show with songs in English and Spanish. So much talent!!

We all joined in on the last song, Waymaker, and the announcement Quint won the Chili Cook-Off!!! Thank you to Roger who ran the sound so well and all that organized this great event.  I’m looking for 2nd service volunteers that may want to help run the Kids Korner (formerly the Nursery) once a month?  I’m also very excited for the Christmas Village on December 9th! Fun crafts, face painting, raffles, cookie decorating, Christmas story and more!
